HGH Tribute Walk

The walkway through the Hamilton General Hospital's Serenity Garden is made of bricks etched with memories and tributes. It is a tribute to those who have touched our lives and provided support to the hospital.

Hamilton General Hospital, a part of the Hamilton Healthcare System, has been caring for patients for more than 50 years. With the completion of a beautiful new hospital facility in 2004, the HGH Auxiliary began the project of coordinating landscape to compliment the surroundings.

With such a deep heritage of community involvement, it was only natural that the Auxiliary chose the walkway to honor, memorialize and remember those who have contributed so much to the hospital and to the community.

The money raised from the sale of each brick will assist the Auxiliary's Serenity Garden project and support other projects to further improve patient care and support the growth of Hamilton General Hospital.

Bricks are available in three sizes:

  • 4x8 Paver Brick, includes 3 lines of a maximum of 12 characters each, $100
  • 8x8 Paver Brick, includes 6 lines of a maximum of 12 characters each, $500
  • 12x12 Granite Tile, includes 9 lines of a maximum of 12 characters each, $1,000

The Auxiliary welcomes all levels of philanthropy including gifts, memorials and honorariums. Tax deductible contributions can be sent to
