Plans, directs and coordinates overall operation of the ambulance service to ensure safe and effective operation, supervises ambulance service personnel, attends meetings.Leadership and management abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, familiarity with operation of emergency medical vehicles and equipment, ability to adhere to hospital, local and state guidelines in delivery of emergency care.Current certification/ licensure by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic or higher, current drivers license.
