Provides quality OT including: Evaluation of patients, development of initial and ongoing treatment & discharge plan, supervision of assistants and aides & participates in case management.
Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy with a degree in OT
Personal job-related skills:Effective oral and written communication skills
Licensure, registry or certification: **Current State of Texas Licensed Occupational Therapist
Prior Work Experience:One year experience as a professional Occupational Therapist preferred
Technical Training: Current BLS training
Physical and Mental Requirements:Duties of the position require extended periods of standing and walking. Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional heavy lifting when moving or supporting patients who may suddenly become weak or helpless.
