Employment Listing Business Office Revenue Cycle Analyst Hours: M-F
Required: High School diploma or GED.
Required: Five or more years of health care industry experience.
Strong Analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle, appeals and customer service.
Knowledge of Workers Compensation and/or Motor Vehicle Accidents/Third Party strongly desired.
Positive attitude, Team Player and the ability to work independently.
Experience in reading EOBS required.
Strong understanding in coding, CPT-4 codes and ICD-10 guidelines.
Proven experience administering appeals in a high-volume claims environment.
This position will provide support, perform tasks, analyze data, and work on special A/R projects related to various revenue cycle functions and revenue integrity processes.
Position requires prior knowledgeable and strong experience with insurance collections, verification, health care benefits assessment for billing Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurances.
Individual should also have experience with appealing claims and responding to claim audits.
Follow-up and manage a large portion of the Aging A/R accounts
Identify internal issues that impede or can enhance the billing process.
Appeal and manage the daily Remittance Advice denials and reports.
Ensuring efficient and timely billing for prompt payment.
Prepare generate daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
Must be able to multi-task and proactively problem solve.
