Administration
Chief Financial Officer Full-Time. Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the District’s polices and operations.  Directs the District’s financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions and the financial community. Assists in the healthcare district’s organizational development, strategic planning, and operating improvement of the District. Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate and insurance activities for the District.  Directs the Controller in providing and directing procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.  Appraises the District’s financial position and issues periodic financial and operating reports.  Analyzes, consolidates and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports.    Organizes, directs, coordinates and participates in the activities involved in the business office, financial management, and operating functions including maintaining the accounting system and record of transactions, computing operating and inventory costs, administering cash and third-party collections, accounts receivable and payable, and preparing statistical reports and financial statements for Administration.  Also organizes, directs, coordinates and participates in the activities involved in Health Information, and Materials Management.  CPA license preferred. Business Office
Billing Manager Full-Time. Preparation of billing claims for submission. Performs posting, statements, credit balances, bad debt and small balance write offs. Performs some collection job duties involved in administering self-pay patient accounts and those duties related to collecting payments for delinquent accounts.  Performs duties involved in receiving payments from patients, accounting for and depositing payments and assuring payment information is reflected on patients’ accounts. Case Management
Licensed Master Social Worker Full-Time.  Under the direction of the Case Management Coordinator, the Case Worker is responsible for providing social services and discharge planning functions for the hospital, clinics, and Special Care Clinic.  Provides resources and support for inpatients, outpatients, emergency room patients and clinic patients.  Works closely with physicians, nurses, and associated clinical professionals to help patients obtain appropriate care and follow-up.  Resolves clinical, psychosocial and financial barriers on the patient’s behalf.  Handles difficult situations in a way that promotes the best outcome for the patient while reducing the facility’s overall cost-to-care.  Plans, provides and documents patient interaction, follow-up, teaches and educates patients, family, or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care.  Assures the after hospital plan of care is carried out in a safe environment.  Must meet deadlines and target goals successfully.  Must have skills in data collection and reporting.   View Employee Benefits. Hico Clinic
