Accounting

Controller Full-time. Manage the accounting department providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management, its board and other users in making educated economic decisions about the healthcare system’s future. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Leadership and management abilities and effective oral and written communications skills.  Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations. Five years of hands-on accounting managerial experience in a hospital setting.

Business Office

Admissions Clerk PRN.Performs admissions duties for admission inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients to hospital services.  Processes and files admission records and acts as liaison with patient family members or responsible party.  Performs duties involved in receiving payments from patients, accounting for and depositing payments and assuring payment information is reflected on patients’ accounts.  Answers multi-line telephone using departmental procedures in routing and transferring calls.  Reports to the Admissions Supervisor.
 

Case Management

Licensed Master Social Worker Full-Time.  Under the direction of the Case Management Coordinator, the Case Worker is responsible for providing social services and discharge planning functions for the hospital, clinics, and Special Care Clinic.  Provides resources and support for inpatients, outpatients, emergency room patients and clinic patients.  Works closely with physicians, nurses, and associated clinical professionals to help patients obtain appropriate care and follow-up.  Resolves clinical, psychosocial and financial barriers on the patient’s behalf.  Handles difficult situations in a way that promotes the best outcome for the patient while reducing the facility’s overall cost-to-care.  Plans, provides and documents patient interaction, follow-up, teaches and educates patients, family, or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care.  Assures the after hospital plan of care is carried out in a safe environment.  Must meet deadlines and target goals successfully.  Must have skills in data collection and reporting.
 

Emergency Department

Registered Nurse (10:30am-11:00pm shift) Full-time. Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.  Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision.  Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system.  Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.  Communicates with Emergency Department physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.  Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Registered Nurse (Night Shift) Full-time. EMT-Paramedic  PRN positions available. Answers emergency calls and makes patient transfers.  Administers first aid to patients in emergency situations providing maximum patient comfort.  Relays pertinent information to dispatcher concerning patient condition and maintains necessary patient records of ambulance service.  Maintains vehicles and equipment in optimum condition.  May be required to pull 24 hour call shifts according to departmental and staffing needs.  EMT-Basic PRN positions available. Answers emergency calls and makes patient transfers.  Administers first aid to patients in emergency situations providing maximum patient comfort.  Relays pertinent information to dispatcher concerning patient condition and maintains necessary patient records of ambulance service.  Maintains vehicles and equipment in optimum condition.  May be required to pull 24 hour call shifts according to departmental and staffing needs.
 

Hico Clinic

Certified Medical Assistant/ Scribe Full-Time. Works to facilitate patient flow and ensure an accurate and complete medical record for each patient. Provide care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed professional. Must have a current medical assistant certificate.
 

Housekeeping

Housekeeper PRN. Performs duties involved in safely handling and disposing of blood and body fluids.  Thoroughly sanitizing floors, walls, counters, and other surfaces is required, following environmental and hospital guidelines and procedures.  Includes cross training in all areas and buildings.  Cleaning and sanitizing furnishings and all areas assigned.

Nursing

RN ( Night Shift) Full-Time. Has principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned patient.  Plans, provides and documents discharge planning, teaching and educates patients, family or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care.  Assures that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of subordinate personnel. Bed Utilization Review/Swing Bed Coordinator (RN) Full-Time. Primary responsibility is coordinating the admission of swing bed patients, assessment, orienting patients to the facility, offering community resources, and reporting activity.  Monitors use of the skilled swing bed program for compliance with Medicare regulations.  Assure that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of subordinate personnel.  Implements palliative care project with acute care patients including but not limited to patient assessment and documentation. Ward Clerk Full-Time. Performs duties of a ward clerk and maintains clerical activities for the emergency room admissions and inpatient admissions.  Enters ancillary orders into the HMS system .  Performs admission duties for emergency room patients to ER and then change to in-patient status.  Performs assigned duties under the direction and supervision of an RN.  

Pharmacy

Certified Pharmacy Technician Full-Time. Under supervision of a Pharmacist, assists with monitoring drug therapy, the stocking and dispensing of pharmaceuticals and the control of narcotics and controlled substances. Graduate of High School or GED. TSBP Registration, PTCB Certification preferred. One year experience in a medical setting preferred.


Radiology

Radiology Technician Full-Time.Under the supervision of Radiology Director or Medical Staff, performs diagnostic radiographic procedures on patients.  Cleans and maintains equipment and prepares necessary reports and maintains records.  Radiology Clerk Full-Time. Schedules and greets radiology patients. Answers the radiology department phone lines, processes calls to necessary personnel if unable to assist caller.  Assembles billing information for interpreting physicians. Works with minimal supervision, reports to the Radiology Director. Effective verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to use or be trained on Radiology computer system.  Effective work organization and time management skills.  

Rural Health Clinic- Hamilton

Licensed Vocational Nurse Full-Time. Provides nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed professional. LVN license, CPR Certification. 

Special Care Clinic

Licensed Professional Counselor Both Full-Time & Intern position available. Assists the Program Director in the development and implementation of a high quality treatment program and the supervision of the Psychiatric Technician staff.  Responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying advanced skills in treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment and discharge planning.  Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team and participates in the clinic community relations program.
