To help maintain the legacy of ensuring vital healthcare services now and for the future for Hamilton County and surrounding areas, a foundation has been formed – the Hamilton General Hospital Healthcare Foundation.
The Foundation’s primary goal is the continuation of planned growth and needed healthcare services for our community. The Hamilton General Hospital Healthcare Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that welcomes all levels of philanthropy, including gifts, memorials and honorariums, as well as donations of such property as stocks. In addition, individuals can create trusts with regular planned gifts, affording special estate income tax benefits.
Gifts may be in the form of cash, life insurance, trusts, gift annuities, marketable securities or bequests. Gifts of memorials and honorariums are a way to pay tribute to loved ones, friends and colleagues. Gifts of various types of real estate and property may be given as approved by the Foundation board.
Donors are advised to consult with their legal counsel or accountant to determine specific tax savings and/or the giving opportunities that best meet their needs.
The Foundation is governed by a voluntary board of local citizens dedicated to developing resources to promote healthcare.
