An active sports enthusiast, Dr. Ellison played baseball for Baylor throughout his undergraduate years before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2013. Dr. Ellison continues to be active in sports and is a cycling enthusiast. He enjoys hunting and fishing.
