Qualifications:

Performs duties involved in safely handling and disposing of blood and body fluids. Thoroughly sanitizing floors, walls, counters, and other surfaces is required, following environmental and hospital guidelines and procedures. Includes cross training in all areas and buildings. Cleaning and sanitizing furnishings and all areas assigned.High school graduate or equivalent preferred.Duties of position require extended
periods of walking and standing. Lifting up to 50 pounds and transporting up to 300 pounds on carts. Pushing and pulling of carts, climbing ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and reaching in storing supplies and cleaning activities. The ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instructions and directions. Must be able to use heavy equipment and machinery to clean, polish, and sanitize floors and carpets on a rotating basis. Completes paper work for each patient room and follows customer service and patient care procedures.
