Maintains information and contracts for third party payer plans. Informs PFS Director of changes in payment schedules, expiration dates of payer contracts and other changes effecting reimbursement of the Hospital District. Responsible for enrollment of providers with third party payers. Assists with accounting functions.High school graduate, college preferred. Typing speed of 45 wpm, operation of ten-key adding machine/calculator. Familiar with Windows system for computers, Windows Office Suite (including Word and Excel) and general computer use.Prefer five years office experience, preferably in third party payer contract negotiations. Prefer familiarity with hospital accounting and business office functions.
